Does the strategy involve day trading?
Absolutely not. We do not day trade at all. Over 30 years of testing various strategies has shown us that day trading whips you out of a trade quickly and often. We do not recommend day trading.
What is going long?
Going long is what most people are familiar with: you purchase shares of stock and make profit when price rises from your purchase price.

We definitely have strategies to reduce and or eliminate losses. After all you have to protect what you already have otherwise you could end up with no money to invest with!

Price is the foundation of all our strategies for 1 reason: price is the only pure data there is in stock investing and is the only thing that matters when it comes to profit or loss. #2 is Emotion. Whether it is people or computerized buying and selling ultimately emotion drives price movement. Our strategy has a special technique to monitor emotion and give key buy and sell signals. #3 Time. Time sensitive investments are important because you need to make money NOW not sit on an investment for years.
Short share availability
Don't be mislead by some licensed brokers if they tell you shorting shares is difficult and they must "locate shares" available for short and the broker must make the short trade. Our experience has shown that 99% of the time there are shares available to short, especially with big market cap well know companies. You do need a licensed broker to short or "locate" shares to short for you. Bull Bear Profit uses a deep discount broker that lists the number of shares available to short for a company and if shares are unavailable to short. Contact us if you need assistance.
